week 7

~Starting into Week 7~

 of our home school year

I really love being my daughters !

I have to say she is!

We are learning all about  dinosaurs in science!

We do our math, spelling, language, history & geography 


and so much more!

 Katie's questions are always answered!

 

She is always comfortable doing her work!

Katie loves to do her !

She is awesome at being out and active for P.E. !

She is always  safe and knows when to wear her helmet!

She really enjoys learning to play the recorder in music  

Gardening is fun for her too 

keeping in mind to always wash your hands and be healthy

My Little Nature Lover

Most little girls are playing dress up or with Barbies.
Mine loves outdoors and her favorite toy is the tree in the front yard!

 

I am making extra money at home :-)

1. Not get rich quick but i make about $50 a week extra spending cash 
2. come try t out its free and sooooo easy!!!

Excited To become A Part

 I am so excited , I have joined a local homeschool group

and me and my daughter are going to our first outing and teachers meeting tomorrow!

Hurricane Irene 2011

Stay safe and keep all in Irene's path in prayer! Being in central Florida I worry and stress and thought of hurricanes near. Irene already did horrible damage in Puerto Rico and is coming at Florida, and up coast as a level 2 nearing level 3 hurricane!

remember the basic supplies to have on hand

canned foods

can opener

flashlights

extra batteries

cameras

evacuation route

evacuation plan

take cove plan

important numbers written down in case electronics die 

extra cat food

We have went over and over what to do with my dd,  she knows if we say go now to go to hall wayand get down. we have an animal cage for our cat so if hurricane comes he is safe and with us.

remember if evacuating and your path is crossed by a downed power line - call and report it and avoid itat all costs! 

remember not to leave your pets behind make sure if you have pets that you find an animal friendly shelter

have leashes, carriers and such ready!

Mama and I Made Muffin Crayons

First we preheat oven to 500 degrees, Second oil the mini muffin pan, 3rd peel the paper off your old crayons

fourth we brake up and sort crayons 3 full crayons for each tin, fifth we bake for 20 minutes and  then let cool 30 minutes ( BE VERY CAREFUL )
